independence

i'm half way across the globe..

away from my family and close friends... 

what does this say about being independent?

I used to think I was very very dependent, in fact I was... 

I was very dependent on my family and friends..

sometimes I do feel I am still dependent.. 

but look at you Karen, 

you're half way across the globe, with a few familiar friends, many new friends, a new environment , far far away from your family.. 

You ought to make your own decisions, right or wrong- you're held responsible!

you are after all independent! may be still a little dependent, but you are not as dependent as you used to be!:)
