Roller coaster rides, water rides, treasure hunts and many more...-never better!
This was my first holiday trip without my sister, it was an opportunity for me to bond with my parents. After two years in a boarding school, 3 months in National Service and a year in university- I finally found the time to develop a mutual understanding between my parents and me, despite the age gap. My dad and I are 37 years apart while my mum and I are only 23 years apart.
I do admire my parents for their ability to communicate well with me, understand me and sometimes put themselves in my shoes. People say its the experience that all parents have gone through- and thats what that makes them able to bridge the gap with their children. I feel, its the sacrifices that parents make to be intimately close with their young ones.
When I was at Universal Studios, I was oblivious of my parents willingness to go on roller coaster rides and etc. I was so eager to go on every single roller coaster available, and I dragged them along- one after another.
We screamed, laughed and teared !!
Some roller coaster rides, were exceptionally thrilling and startling. Your heart beat accelerates from time to time.
' The Revenge of the Mummy' - that was by far the best roller coaster ride among all in U.Studios!!
there was so much suspense. We got on the roller coaster, buckle ourselves in the seat. It started moving- at a slow pace initially, then it accelerated, came to a halt. banged through the pyramid walls, rotated 360 degrees...accelerated backwards, rotated 180 degrees and then accelerated upwards at a very high velocity. wow!!everyone went gaga...I screamed only at the end, and when I opened my eyes, only to realize the roller coaster ride has ended and everyone was clapping. *haha*..(sigh)
At the end of the day, I was really proud of my parents. Imagine at the age of 44( mom) and 56 (dad), they were enthusiastic about the roller coaster rides, Steven Spillburg's stage action, the water ride, the 4D adventure and many more...boy, my parents are definitely YOUNG AT HEART..*chuckles*
Just a week ago, my friends and I went to Sentosa Island. We rocked the island with our typical Malaysian attitude-haha.
Next pit-stop, Hat-yai. (soon)
